The Gallbladder Thyroid and Cholesterol Connection Part 4

Dr. Berg talks about the gallbladder anatomy and gallbladder function. The normal stomach acid should be at a pH of 1-3. The gallbladder releases bile which helps to breakdown fat with the help of pancreas. Pancreas releases enzymes which helps to further breakdown these fats up to the smallest particles.

Dr. Berg then discusses about cholesterol. Cholesterol are a form of proteins that help to carry fat through the body. It helps to stop inflammation in the body. There are different type of problems which arise due to high cholesterol or low cholesterol.

The lack of stomach acid can also slow the release of pancreas enzymes. Lipase from the pancreas helps break down the fats all the way down to its smallest particle. Cholesterol is also regulated by bile. The conversion of the thyroid hormones is controlled by the thyroid – T4 converts to T3 with the help of bile.

This is the fourth video which talks about the gallbladder and its relationship with cholesterol. To know more about the gallbladder, watch out the other videos in this series.

  1. Hi. I watched a number of the videos and I see that the volume of daily cholesterol generated by the body is inconsistent. In this video you're saying it's 2000 mg per day and in another video you say it's 3000 mg per day. Can you clarify?

  2. Can your gallbladder go back to normal function after taking the bile formula? I just started taking some and I'm finding I need to add 8 HCl with pepsin with my protein meals I feel this is insane am I doing the right things,?

  3. I have had no gallbladder since the 70's. Drs over years haven't connected dots to other symptoms. Just bought D3K2with purified bile salts and nutritional yeast.. Will the nutritional yeast aggravate a current yeast infection?

  4. You have taken a lot of time
To explain gallbladder dysfunction but not so much on how to treat it. Can you do a more comprehensive video on this? You really haven’t said anything (other than a healthy diet and ur own supplement) what we can do to flush out stones and support the gallbladder and digestive system. For example would u suggest taking ox bile, biter herbs, lemon and oil flushing at night, pancreatic enzymes, intermittent fasting and improving betaine HCL? Combination? Amounts? What would be your best way of dealing with gall bladder stones and support it? Or just ur gall bladder formula with a good diet is all that is needed?

  5. I had my gallbladder removed in 2005, and haven't had any noticeable problems with it–the medical team told me at the time the gallbladder is a "redundant system" and that the liver can assume the functions of the missing gallbladder. Since I've been doing the ketogenic diet, however, I am now noticing digestion difficulties with lower bowel cramps, constipation and diarrhea. Will your gallbladder formula help my situation, or should I take other supplements instead? Thank you for your information.

  6. What if the gall-bladder has been removed, can we still take the supplement ? if not what is the best supplement we should take after gall bladder has been removed?

  7. Hey Dr Berg. I had my gallbladder removed a few years ago before I had this information. I ordered your d3 & k2 vitamin but now I am wondering if I should have ordered the Gallbladder formula. I am a 63 yr female. Which one would be better. Thanks

  8. Bless you Dr. Berg: I have been having right side pain under last rib for several yeas, no surprise I developed Frozen Shoulder right side. I had shoulder surgery in 2016 with 6 months of physical therapy, shoulder a little better but not 100%, still alot of pain in scapula area, all along I suspected it was somehow related to my gallbladder!! I was also told by Cholesterol specialist that I have a inherited dangerous cholesterol. I also have Hashimoto's and trouble converting T4-T3. Watching your videos was like connecting the medical dots for me, going to work on healing my gallbladder stat:)

  9. So will your gallbladder formula fix this issue?? i have everything you pretty much talked about. im on 200mcg of synthroid and it's not working. i have VERY bad acid reflux. constipation etc i just started Eating low carb and incorporated IF into my routine. im 1 week in. haven't had acid reflux since i started. i now know i have a bile issue thanks to you. the question is will your formula fix it along with a healthy diet. im gonna go to the grocery store tomorrow and get the spring mix, sprouts, ACV,. I also wanna get your thyroid collection with the sea kelp. i use to be 130lbs then i had my daughter 5 years ago and gained a lot of weight then i had my son almost 2 years ago and put on even more. Here i am at 230lbs. i REALLY am focusing on getting healthy and hopefully losing the weight secondary. i wish i could have you as my own personal doctor cause i am 100% sure you could get me where i dream of being. i have become very depressed because of the way i feel and look and i can hardly do anything with my kids 🙁 I don't want them to pay for or miss out on things because of my health issues. i'm desperate for change. im trying to gather as much info and connect the dots. i wish i had a paper telling me exactly what to eat when to eat it etc…. 🙁 Anyway thank you for ALL your amazing info in ALL your videos. You are helping a lot of people <3

  10. started packing on pounds after gall bladder was removed  maybe 10 years ago… ordered the formula today, doing IF and keto for 3 weeks… lost 6 ilbs and I am excited about getting the "old" Diane back… 61 years young… have watched tens of videos and wondering why I only found out about Dr. Berg recently… I am a fan and will be for the rest of my life… was a size 4 or 6 right up to 52 years old… I know the process of "getting healthy" will lead to the weight loss and increased quality of life… Thank you! PS  Love the wheat grass juice!  fabulous taste! great product

  11. Dr. Berg, this is a life changing video for me! I am on synthroid & HRT meds. Have right shoulder pain and difficult time with digestion and absorbing vitamins and protein. None of my physicians have a clue of how to address my issues. THANK YOU for this vital information!!!

  12. Excellent addressing of connection between gallbladder and pancreas. For anyone out there I had amalgams removed (and mercury levels tested beforehand – high!) and that helped my gallbladder tremendously along with rhomboid pain and still seeing what else. Thanks, Dr. Berg.

  13. Is the supplement good if there's no gallbladder? Mine was removed 22 years ago and I have gained a lot of weight throughout those years.Recently I was told I am Vit D and K deficient. Thanks for your consistency.

  14. Love, love your series. I know I have the some stones. I went to a Gastro and he did the ultrasound. That was 4 years ago. I decided to try and treat myself …with your help. Today and for the past 5 days, my back is the worst its ever been…right side around the shoulder blade. WORST! I do take your Gallbladder Formula but only once a day. Should I take every meal? How is another way I can get the pain gone? I do not want to go to the ER. Thank you so much.

  15. Dr Berg can you tell more specific what to eat pls if you have gallbladder issues when you say vegetable what type as English is not my first language thank you

  16. I take 75mcg of T3 daily. I tried 3 times to switch to NDT but had a return of symptoms, I don't convert T4 to T3. I also have frequent gallbladder attacks. My question is: If I manage to heal my gallbladder and have enough bile, can I quit taking the T3 or taper off so my thyroid can start producing again?
